Yes! Today I was voted Covergirl, and what an amazing experience it has been! Finally this virtual dream of mine has come true, and all my hard work in wanting this moment has paid off at last! Although you technically only get 25sd and a ribbon, it is a symbol of something much more and it is just something I cannot even describe! I will be most likely accepting requests for a year haha! Stardoll does requests in increments of like 700, so anytime I finish accepting 700 I get 500 more instantly! I have recieved so many gb comments, album comments, scenery comments, messeges, gifts, and requests as I just mentioned, that I feel overwhelmed with compassion! What an amazing day, and to top it all off now I have a new banner! yay! haha
Anyways I wanted to post this so I can look back and remember what it was like! I want to thank everyone for the amazing love and support I have recieved, and all the voters who voted for me are truly amazing!
Stardoll does have its scammers and hackers, but for the most part it is filled with wonderful and beautiful people!

I just want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who sent me a gift and wished me a happy birthday! I had a wonderful day and seeing everything you guys said and did made it even better! :D
Now for another wonderful thing that happened today. Paulina Porizkova baught one of my designs! As I mentioned yesterday or the day before I started my own clothing line, VIVID by Mel, and when I signed on I saw someone named Paulina baught a dress and then I clicked the username to thank her and it was THE one and only Paulina! I cannot believe this and hopefully this will help my business, because after all, the world's first supermodel loves my designs! Come check out some new designs! They are selling pretty fast so if you want a one of a kind dress that Paulina adores (haha) come now to my bazar!

Above is a picture of the new line and my medoll glammed up in the new makeup. I tried my hardest to create something good however I became overwhelmed with all the colors. I do not think any of the lip colors, facial makeup, or the majority of the eye makeup is fit for medolls and girls who are not white. Everything looks a bit like a clown or foolish on my medoll and I have to say I had higher expectations. To me this store is good for bright colors, but not for everyday makeup. I kind of want stardoll to create another store that highlights what girls with different colors and looks need!
Well anyways, that is just my opinion! What is yours? Is it Disappointing or Terrific?

Barbie is celebrating a very important birthday! The famous fashion icon is turning the fabulous 50! As everyone knows Barbie is known for her glamorous ways, so to fufill everyone's expectations there was the very first ever Barbie fashion show! The show was in New York fashion week at the Bryant Park tents this past saturday, on Valentines day. With the models looking just like various collector barbies they sported classic looks, such as bouffant hair, perfect-in-place makeup, fabulous form-fitting cocktail dresses, gowns, suits, knock out accessories and super high heels (which were designed by the very well known Christian Louboutin). There were fifty looks created honoring fifty classic outfits and her fifty fabulous years! The show was such a big deal so many famous and amazing designers had the honor to be apart of this show! Some designers a part of the show were Vera Wang, Betsey Johnson, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Carmen Marc Valvo, Marchesa, and those are only a few who designed for the chic plastic doll. The show was set in front of a bright pink background and a very sparkly chandelier. The show opened with a model dressed as the original barbie doll from back in 1959. The first look was designed by Rachel Roy. Rachel Roy told many reporters about how big Barbie was in influencing her to get into fashion. She recalled her first doll and the impact it had on her. The impact it had on her is similar to the impact the fashion show on Saturday had on her daughter. Her daughter summed up the whole experience by saying "I loved it". Other highlights of the night included our very own RC of stardoll, Heidi Klum sitting in the front row. And Kenneth Cole's designs which included a male model who was Barbie's Ken. However I think the biggest highlight was the fact that the tent was completely packed with people who traveled far and wide to see their favorite toy being celebrated! The satisfaction and awe from the audience as each look traveled down the runway was something that showed how influential Barbie is. Barbie proves how good you can look at 50!!
Pictures below are from the event so check those out as well !!
